Tenacious D in Post-Apocalypto is an American animatic episode series by Jack Black and Kyle Gass as Tenacious D. Post-Apocalypto finds Tenacious D thrust into a world of complete and utter destruction following the drop of an atomic bomb. Genre: Comedy Rock / Hard Rock / Heavy Metal It was unblocked and had an age-restriction placed on it shortly after. The second episode was removed from YouTube shortly after being uploaded on October 5 for its sexual content. The entire series was screened at the LA Film Festival on Septemand the Fantastic Fest on September 25, 2018. A new episode was released every Friday from then until November 2 - to mark the release of the Post-Apocalypto album and the subsequent tour. All six episodes feature new Tenacious D songs, culminating in a new Tenacious D album - also called Post-Apocalypto. Each frame of every episode was hand-drawn by Jack himself, with every character voiced by Black and Gass. On September 4, it was announced that the series would be released on YouTube, with the first episode coming out on September 28. Post-Apocalypto - The Series - is an original, six-part animated video series from the minds of Tenacious D. On May 15, 2018, the band released a few seconds of their show in the form of a trailer to promote their tour in the fall of the year.
